I bought a USB TV widget today as my HD set-top box had died. Now to set it up in some kind of permanent way.

It was a bit of a hot day today in Perth. My brain is a little melted and I've felt very un-useful all day. Hopefully tomorow will be better.

Chasing a one character syntax error for about 60 minutes this afternoon. Of course, being a scripting language (Ruby) it didn't barf a useful error *sigh* .... nil object .... la la la

Went to the VC's Xmas Party tonight. Usual staff networking and catching up with people.

Went off to the cinema to watch a movie and caught Zombieland.... lots of silly fun. Remember, always check the seat behind you!

Today's effort was Day 1 of the Senior First Aid course that some UCC members were organising.

Didn't get much done tonight except for the PUCS meeting. 2010 is looking like it will be a good year for PUCS.

Experienced a sample of the new Perth to Bunbury highway riding on the bus to Mandurah for carols. It's not inspired me much for my first drive down it.

it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas....
Went to the PUCS Xmas BBQ and then the carolling gig. Relaxing!

Had a very, very relaxing time at my friends D and A end of exams party tonight. Thankfully avoided drinking the Emu Export.

I'd forgotten how much I enjoy tinkering with code. On the flip side, my woeful attention span means code gets dealt with in fits and spurts.

On related, I've run out of SOAP, no XML-RPC to be found either. Enough of this geekiness, I'm going to go have a REST.

I first got exposed to this song (as performed by Queen and not Jim's Hensons creations) at my high school theatre production afters. Wow, there's a world out there! A lots changed and come full circle since then.
